Live Pledge Through the Years
In 1971, Charlotte Hill founded the Friends of Channel 10 as a nonprofit group to raise funds for the station. Their first television auction in 1973 raised $35,000.
Producer and Las Vegas Sun critic Joe Delaney was the longtime host of Channel 10’s pledge drives, hosting famous guests like Paul Anka (pictured) and Frank Sinatra.
Host Judyann Price with Pavlo in 2018, Vegas PBS’ 50th anniversary year. Live productions like pledge ended in 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic began.
